Hellooooooo! My name is Tsahay, but you can call me Tis (we both know it's easier that way). To introduce myself, I am seventeen, and I have been a writer all my life.

My earliest writing experiences that I can remember come from when I was about six years old, and my aunt gifted me a pink notebook. From there, I filled its pages with many, many adventurous stories, from The Very Noisy Elephant, to the five-part book series "The Giant Jug", in which the characters, generically named Jake and Amy, got married at the very end. Just the memory is enough to bring a tear to my eye.

But anyway! What am I up to now? Well, now I spend most of my time. . .procrastinating? Doing nothing? Staring at a blank Word document as fantastical images flash between my eyes but never make it to the page?

Why is it so much easier to write fun stories when you're six years old and they objectively SUCK, as opposed to when you're older and they actually hold some merit? For me, I've pinned it down to purpose. When I was younger I was writing for nothing more than myself, because I enjoyed it and wanted to do so. And now? I spend every moment overanalyzing every line, wondering what some imaginary audience might think of me and my craft.

Well I say no more :). From now on I aim to write for no one and nothing other than myself, selfishly so. This blog is going to be a collection of random narratives, worldbuilding lore drops, and sudden existential poems that I've decided to create just because I love the craft, and not for someone else.

Will I be spamming this account with hoards of useless information? Yes. Will I attract a large audience? Probably not. But no matter. If you want to come along for the ride, that's more than enough. Whatever your decision, I won't completely hold out hope that maybe someday somebody might find as much joy in my literary indulgences as I do :).
